“I was impressed by INeedSpex's unusual and desirable 'vintage' range and in due course by their helpfulness, swiftness, and competence. I ordered with prescription lenses and these were made and fitted perfectly. The Victorian Oval glasses are stylish and very serviceable, especially considering the price. I am not sure the style is quite fully Victorian proper as much as slightly earlier, Georgian, late-18th-early 19thC. They are made of monel, a nickel-copper alloy. I would note I had to tighten up the screws in the arm-hinges upon arrival. Prospective customers might wish to be clearly-informed of how _very small_ these are; "tiny" would not be an overstatement; in my case they directly encircle my eyes.”
“I do WW2 re-enacts and also like early 1920s dress style. I needed some reading glasses to cover both periods. These look the part and work fine as I can look over the top of them for normal site. Just a shame they don’t come in antique silver to match my pocket watch. I bought Gun metal rather than gold as it seemed more suitable.”
