“So after a week in Good weather my experience an okay Chinese tent Good things are lots of room for 1 with all your gear undercover, the little mesh basket attached to the inner roof is great for storing small bits and putting a light into, lights up the whole tent, corner pockets, not to bright inside and packs up small, being able to open opposite sides is great for airflow and access The not so good; easy but fiddly to put up the velcro tabs to attach the fly a bit naff, could do with 4 more guy rope points for when it's really windy, inner mesh is fragile, zips are a two handed operation, I got stuck inside when the fly got caught in the zip from the outside (2x)”
“I have not used the tent due to the poor weather over the recent weeks. Overall easy to put up in the backyard and easy to pack away. The tent has a good balance between weight, space, quality, and price. While I intend to use for tramping also appears to be suitable for motorbike touring.”
“It’s only been out for our first overnighter but I’m really stoked with our new Orson Hopper tent. It stood up to some stiff Hakatere Valley winds really well. The tent zips/seams appear to be excellent quality and the tent packs down really nicely.”
“I don't think you can beat this tent for the weight, price and space. It is an impressive design and easy to put up. Have not tested in a huge down pour or winds yet.”
