“The Orson Ranger 2 is a very good tent that worked well. We hav not yet been in harsh weather conditions with these tents, however, they have performed well during all of the multiday hikes in wet and very windy plus dry and cool conditions. These tents have been pitched in tussocks covered hills, exposed farmland and flat DOC sites. I would be comfortable using this tent as a 3 season, below the snowline in any weather condition.
The tent was quick and easy to put up - circa 2 mins with 2 people.
I purchased several of these tents for our highschool students and all of the tents are performing well.
I would happily recommend this product.”

“Really rate this tent. I know it's rated as a 3 season tent, but I've put it through a heck of a workout already. It's had rain, wind, snow, and sunshine and done amazing through it all. Love going away tramping, heaps of room for me, my dog, and our gear inside the tent and vestibule. Agree with other reviews that it potentially could be a bit snug for 2 people (not that I have tried), but I love that there is 2 sided front access for the tent, so there's no need to climb over each other.”

“Lightweight easy to pitch tent. Used it on NZ great walks and some other hikes. Bit struggle with the ventilation - so morning condensation is smth you cannot be avoided. Roomy stuff sack so easy to pack.”
