“I took the 11-week online course beginning in September 2025. It was well-designed, thorough, and enjoyable. The instructor was knowledgeable and responsive. There seem to be many programs out there that offer cheap certification but will they really prepare you to teach English as a foreign language? ITA will. I highly recommend it.”

“Short and sweet - get in and get out with the qualification. Work load is 100% manageable for a part time course so I was able to continue working full time and keep up with the weekly assessment tasks without feeling super stressed. Although some videos seem older, the content is still relevant and helpful to improve practice. I also enjoyed the way they keep students engaged through the forums - lots of interesting content to learn from others rather then always text book based. Overall, great course and would recommend if you want to try something totally different!”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. My instructor, Lauren Pennington, was excellent! The admissions office is also very supportive with practicum placement. I am a full time public school teacher, a wife, and a mom, and I’m already tutoring a Ukrainian student, earning hours for my practicum! I love the flexibility of this course because it was still possible with my busy lifestyle. TEFL is an excellent EFL business model for a growing English Language Learning industry that provides a lot of concise, pertinent reading and training videos. I look forward to earning my TEFL certification so I can begin tutoring EFL students professionally as a second career. This is an exciting time in my life! Thank you International TEFL Academy!”

“Honestly this is my first time taken a tefl course so I don’t know too much about other programs but if you really want to be successful in your EFL or ESL teaching career TEFL Academy is the program for you. They literally strive and put in effort into the courses to make sure you are knowledgeable of the basic principles of becoming an effective teacher. These past 11 weeks has been an amazing and effective experience. I’ve learned the variety of methods of teaching English along with creating successful , student centered lesson plans. I have a feeling I’m going to have an interesting, successful journey thanks to TEFL Academy!! Keep up the good work guys!!!”
