“Intense and worth it! I don't know how those wonderful people do the 4 week version - I needed all 11 weeks to get all of my written assignments and reading done - but I was working full time. Truly the instructors were great, our teacher Dr. Grantz was just a delight and so smart and eloquent and easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about the course and the people. Not joking in the title though, hit me up if you would like a referral link to benefit us both!”

“The 11-week TEFL course was a life changing experience for me because I had never seen myself as a teacher before taking the course, which unlocked possibilities that I never imagined. The travel and new cultural experiences are intriguing. More importantly, getting to teach people and help them grow as bilingual in professional spaces is truly rewarding.”

“OK, I did an internet search for TESOL training and discovered this school (ITA) and the online TEFL Course. I've been so impressed and delighted with this quality educational experience! In my opinion, other institutions should grant college credit for this course! Perhaps some day they will. I just finished the 11-week certification course. Now I'm taking "a specialty course", to expand my qualifications. The availability and quality of these courses reflect the value offered by this school. That's only one aspect of the advantages you get at ITA. I encourage you to examine this school and its many offerings closely. I personally believe this would be your best choice.”

“I took the 11-week online course beginning in September 2025. It was well-designed, thorough, and enjoyable. The instructor was knowledgeable and responsive. There seem to be many programs out there that offer cheap certification but will they really prepare you to teach English as a foreign language? ITA will. I highly recommend it.”

“Short and sweet - get in and get out with the qualification. Work load is 100% manageable for a part time course so I was able to continue working full time and keep up with the weekly assessment tasks without feeling super stressed. Although some videos seem older, the content is still relevant and helpful to improve practice. I also enjoyed the way they keep students engaged through the forums - lots of interesting content to learn from others rather then always text book based. Overall, great course and would recommend if you want to try something totally different!”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. My instructor, Lauren Pennington, was excellent! The admissions office is also very supportive with practicum placement. I am a full time public school teacher, a wife, and a mom, and I’m already tutoring a Ukrainian student, earning hours for my practicum! I love the flexibility of this course because it was still possible with my busy lifestyle. TEFL is an excellent EFL business model for a growing English Language Learning industry that provides a lot of concise, pertinent reading and training videos. I look forward to earning my TEFL certification so I can begin tutoring EFL students professionally as a second career. This is an exciting time in my life! Thank you International TEFL Academy!”
