“We purchased these for next summer as they are our favorite! My child loves them as they can put them on independently. I love that they can be washed and kept clean! We've had at least 1 pair every year since my child could walk.”
“My bub and I both love these shoes for him! Previously he wore Nike sneakers. They worked great, and he liked them, but his foot is square shaped in the toe box area and I can tell that these are just so much more comfortable on than the Nikes. They are also more lightweight, and SO flexible! They work great with and without socks. We put socks on him whenever we know we are playing somewhere dusty/with lots of loose dirt so that less dirt/dust filters down into the shoe itself. The knit pattern on the top of the toe box is very hole-y, so it's very easy for dust and dirt to get inside. (The picture shows the hole details as best as I could get.) That's probably my only complaint! But like I said, we've figured out how to minimize that issue. And, for those who care about stuff like this, imo the holes aren't big enough to show colors through. So bright colored socks won't change the look of the shoe.
I haven't figured out how to wash them yet (I've never washed sneakers before haha) but I like that they technically can be washed!
And lastly, I stinkin' LOVE that Jan and Jul shoes come in half sizes!! The 6.5 is PERFECT with JUST enough room to grow for summer!”
Thank you for your amazing review! It's so easy to wash these shoes and have them looking like new in no time - just pull the insole and toss everything into the washer (regular cycles are fine) and allow to air dry.

Another well designed shoe, this one more geared towards indoor and fair weather conditions
They are easy to put on, take off, and are perfect for indoor areas like daycares, preschool classrooms, and just bumming around playgrounds on sunny days. Think all summer tires - except in shoe format for your little ones. I have gone through several sizes of these as my little one's foot have grown, so I cannot recommend these enough.”
