Being able to service the ball joints and bushings were a major selling point for me. Also the fact that they're made in the USA was very important. A great product overall!

“I bought a set of the STD High Caster UCA's for my 2000 4Runner. I used these to upgrade from the stock arms. I replaced a lot of parts recently on this vehicle due to their age and wear. I replaced OEM with upgraded heavy-duty parts designed for these vehicles that have been lifted. I am running the standard 3" lift on mine. I have 285/75/16 General Grabber AT2 tires on 16x8" wheels.
The arms arrived quickly and were easy to install. I did the job by myself with no trouble at all. I am my own mechanic and have done this kind of job on my vehicle before. There are good installation videos for these arms on YouTube. They came packaged very well and undamaged.
The instructions that are included are good.
After installing them and getting the vehicle aligned, the truck drives so much better. I can't wait to test their off-road performance this Fall. This vehicle is no longer a daily driver and will be used for Adventures and hauling things around. Maybe the occasional grocery store run. ;-)
My only complaint is that they are only offered in Red. I wish Black was a choice. I could have painted them, but I didn't want to do that until I had installed them and lived with them for a while to make sure I was going to keep them.”
“Amazing, In terms of performance I think these are the best upper control arms on the market. Then factor in that they’re 20 to 30% less than their nearest competitors picking these up is a serious no-brainer. I did research for about three years and went back-and-forth on whether or not I really needed UCA’s with a 2” lift. When I stepped up to running a 33 inch tire they were mandatory to prevent rubbing. But they do so much more… the ride quality is significantly improved with a better geometry for alignments these provide.”
“I just put these UCAs on two weeks ago. I just returned from a 1800 mile round-trip with him installed. After I initially put my 3 inch lift on, I went and got an alignment. Everything was able to be brought back into spec except for the caster adjustment, which I was expecting. After I installed my JBA’s, I went the following morning to get a new alignment. The tech brought the print out to me with a big smile on his face. He’s an off-road guy, and knew what I had done to the vehicle. He was amazed because just by me putting the JBA’s on my 4Runner, my factory specs on the caster adjustment was nearly perfect. He didn’t have to touch a thing. The ride is phenomenal, and the articulation is great. I’m most happy with the fact that these are 100% serviceable with the grease fittings throughout. I highly recommend them!”
