JBA UCA are in a class of their own. Not only thoughtfully designed for lifted applications, but the user friendly servicing and trail rebuild capability make these units top notch. The build quality is stout and the welding extremely clean. These units replaced a failed open bearing design on short notice and the team at JBA shipped immediately. The alternative was 14-16 weeks (plus shop time) away...wow. I would recommend these JBA UCA units to anyone without question. The company and units are top shelf.

I took great confidence in these upper control arms, because they were first introduced in a Timmy the tool man video. But after seeing others in different videos experiencing great results I was convinced. They have help my 4Runner with 33’s and 3’ lift all around clear the front rubbing problems and has given the 4Runner better handling and stability. Thank for a great product, and a great Company. Ed.

Paired this arm with the Wheelers T1 coil on top of Bilstein 5100’s and the ride is substantially better than stock. I also noticed about an inch more of down travel as compared to stock. The red of the arms also make the truck “pop” and makes the suspension setup look dialed in. The installation was pretty straight forward, went on without to much of a fuss just wish that it explained how many washers to use on each side. I assume extra are included for various applications. The construction looks tough. The arms are also heftier than stock and feel more high quality. I also love how the ball joint is super easy to replace in case I ever destroy one. This arm is meant for the person that daily’s their truck and likes to wheel on the weekend. That being said, no expense was spared on the arm and very well last the life of the vehicle. The weakest part of the arm seems to be the ball joint ( as expected). But with how easy it is to replace the ball joint I wouldn’t be too worried about one going out mid trail. Carry a simple tool set and an extra ball joint and in a few minutes be right back on the trail.

Nice product with one exception. The robber on the ball joints are cracking after 6 months of very light use. I recommend a better rubber for the ball joints. I can’t grease the ball joints because the grease leaks out of the rubber due to the cracks. I love all the grease fittings, but they have to hold grease. Other then that its a very nice product and an like the option to build. I would upgrade the ball joint rubber covers.
