“took a couple weeks to get installed and corrected caster to over 4% on each side with my ToyTech 3 inch lift.
My 33.5 tires were rubbing on wheel well liner bad before and now just slightly. Been waiting to have UCA set installed before doing final adjustment of wheel well liner.
So much nicer on the road and my 2016 GX 460 tracks great down the road when you let go of the wheel due to increase caster.
Have to say the ride also feels much smoother with increased caster as well.
I had a shop install this time around and they billed for 2.5 hours labor not the 4 hours in their book.
Over all I am so happy I got this upgrade completed after driving 6 months on lift and new tires. The red has a great look when paired with my ToyTech red springs.”
“I am very pleased with the JBA UCS. I would definitely recommend them. I have tested the UCAs on my Tacoma with a 4-in rough country lift. I've gained approximately 6 inches of droop articulation and it is absolutely a noticeable difference. The team at JBA was extremely helpful with any and all questions I had and had great patience in explaining and answering those questions.”
“Only have about 300 miles on them so far but they’ve been great. Very good build quality. Easy to access grease points, and they have been very quiet. I’m sure they will hold up for a very long time.”
“I chose to buy the STD over the more robust version because of the price. You would think that for such an important component it would be smart to invest a bit more on a part that you will rely on. That being said, this JBA UCA delivers! Multiple grease points for servicing which is awesome, added caster built in for the lift, threaded holes for the brackets! Not only is this a great product they have great customer service as well! For the price you cannot go wrong in my opinion. Would buy again 11/10”
“I had issues with the original order but after calling JBA, they recommended canceling the order and trying again, after this the second order went right through.
The videos and instructions were very clear. If you are mechanically minded or prefer to do maintenance and work on your vehicles, the repair is totally doable.
The upper replacement was soooooo easy compared to the lower. Each side (Upper) was probably an hour to remove the old and place the new.
The ride is great and I love the ability to change out individual parts instead of the whole thing (like factory).
The biggest complaint is that my brake line bracket would not line up to the hole in the new control arm. The line is currently held up by zipties.”
