“It seems like the aftermarket world for car enthusiats is being bought left and right by aquisition companies. Customer service in general has taken a few steps back, but its made me appreciate the small but meaningful efforts that JBA makes to remind me of what GOOD customer service is.
I had experience with the brand on another set of arms long ago, and was shopping to replace the third set of SPC arms I have had on my GX470 (XAxis bushings lasting around 12k miles on average). Their price was the best (of quality offerings), and the ball joint serviceability was a big plus to me.
With my purchase I received a series of follow up emails, including some education on front end alignments / how to discuss what is needed with a shop. Its not much, but for anyone new to the experience of getting modified vehicles aligned, I think its an incredibly valuable touch that has probably got in front of a lot of potential headaches.
I did have one question post purchase that was responded to via email within a few hours.
The arms were packaged very well, and even came with paper instructions that detailed the installation and maintenance procedures (including grease recomendations, intervals, etc). They also included some consumeable items for the install like loctite and some bushing grease.
Their actions show how much they care about their customers. Its a shame I wont need another set of arms anytime soon because I would gladly be purchasing from them again.”
“I have 2 inch lift and went out of spec. Steering wander, low caster made driving less engaging.
With these I wad able to get sweet spot of 4.8 caster with perfect toe and camber.
With around 100 miles in it, no noise from UCAs, make sure you grease them after install. Steering is to my liking, heavy, self centering and no wander.”
“Simple as take out the old and put in the new. Lost one of the washers on install and JBA was kind enough to send me a full new set! Fixed my caster (and i think I might have even gained some down travel over the oem UCS)
