“Installed on a '19 Tacoma TRD OR with Eibach 2R suspension which gives approx 3" lift, and 275/70/r17 -12mm offset wheel/tire. Cam bolts were maxed out for clearance from the cab and truck used to "wander" over small bumps at speed. Almost like losing control temporarily, with stock UCAs. After installing the JBA UCAs, cam bolts are still maxed, but truck is solid now even over small bumps and didn't have to do CMC for clearance. Have yet to test off-road, but UCAs feel very well constructed and have no reason to doubt their capabilities.
Installation was PITA, but that is due to Toyota's design and I did reuse the UCA mounting bolts. Cutting off the old bolts and inserting new ones from back to front would've saved me a couple hrs.”
“UCAs were easy to install on my 2009 Tacoma. Fit is good as advertised. Front end alignment came into Toyota specifications as necessary. The quality looks good. Solid control arms.”
“Not so easy install on Tacoma with the sheet metal on the inside of fender on both sides having to be pulled out to remove and install UCA bolt. Not JBA issue more Toyota issue. Easy alignment adjustments with Hunter alignment machine. Thanks for the great buying experience, quick delivery and solid product. Looks great on truck and performance is top notch. Thanks Marlin!”
“Excellent Quality and Design. I love how easy it is to change the ball joints. I really appreciated receiving digital directions ahead of time to review along with getting physical directions when time to install.”
“I have a 2nd gen tacoma with 3.5 inch lift in the front that has struggled with alignments, ball joint wear and overall rough ride since lifting and affecting my down travel. These control arms made the ride so smooth and have been able to actually get my truck in spec for an alignment since lifting even though I have tried other UCAs brands. Build quality seems outstanding and looking forward to testing them on the trails.”
