“Had been chasing after alignment issues these past couple years after lifting my Tacoma. Didn’t even realize JBA had made UCA for a bigger lift. Having bought a pair of UCA from JBA before, I knew it’d be a quality product. Have had no issues since installing. Can’t recommend the JBA Off-road enough! Great products by a great brand”
“Don’t know if you guys gave me the right upper control arms. I installed them and brought it to my alignment shop but seems to be that they are super short and might be the wrong ones. Was wondering if we can take a look and make sure I received the right ones or not. 2010 Tacoma with a 6 inch pro comp drop bracket lift.”
“I purchased the JBA Upper Control Arms for my 2015 Tacoma with an 11-inch lift, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Plannin to add another inch real soon. These arms have outperformed my previous SPC UCAs, which struggled with the increased lift height. The JBAs provide better durability, improved alignment, and superior handling.
If your lift exceeds 6 inches, these UCAs are the perfect match. High-quality construction and reliable performance make them well worth the investment. Highly recommended for serious lifted builds.”
“No issues with the UCAs themselves, install was a little tough though. Comes with 4 large washers (2 skinny, 2 thick) that were a very tight fit and required a pry bar to get all 4 to fit. These were much more heavy duty than the OEM arms that come on the truck but the brake line bracket fits awkward on the mounting point, might need to bend the bracket a bit to get it to sit flush.
For those installing on a 3rd gen Tacoma, you'll need to pry back some of the inner wheel well to "encourage" the UCA bolt to slide past. A pry bar and mallet were very helpful pushing the bolt in and out.
Can't see these crapping out anytime soon, but if they do I'll definitely repurchase.”
“I have been battling trying to find a solution for my Toyota which I lifted 6”. The alignment since lifting it was always off. The camber was in the negatives and the ride quality was also low not to mention the rubbing that I got from my upper control arms hitting my coil over lines.
After installing the JBA upper control arms I was able to get nearly a stock alignment even though I’m still rocking a 6” lift. I also no longer have to worry about out them hitting the coil over lines because they are slimmer, offer more clearance, and are stronger.
The installation was easy and straight forward and the higher articulation within the ball joint offers much more movement. These arms drastically change the sensitivity of steering and helped with overall control.
I was definitely hesitant on purchasing them but I 10/10 recommend these. The price is steep but the benefits are worth the $.
The only complaint I have is the nut for that crews onto the ball joint seating the upper control arm is a locknut vs a castle nut. The arms did come with thread lock however I do suggest drilling a hole and utilizing a castle nut vs locknut.
THANK YOU JBA FOR OFFERING AN AMAZING SOLUTION!”
“Amazing customer support. The control arm is very strong and went in easily with the instructions. I was uncertain which arm to purchase, and the customer service really made me feel at ease and was super helpful. I will definitely recommend your company.”
