“Thawed out the package labeled elk steak. It was elk tenderloin. Cut it into medallions. Grilled them 2 minutes each side and let them rest for 1 minute. Awesome velvet texture , pink and juicy middle, and great flavor. Definitely going To be a repeat customer.”
“Never one to complain, blame it on the Marine in me, we had the Elk ribeye tonight. Both the Elk ribeye and loin have freezer burn due to the vacuum seal plastic bursting/ripping? I don't really know. I enjoyed it, wife is hung up on the freezer burn and the plastic seals unsealing. Even with that, still a taste that was amazing to me, honestly best meat I have ever eaten. Don't know if this helps.
