“Brought a lot of twenny bars for a five day hike in the mountains. Had one for breakfast and one for an afternoon snack every day to get more calories every day and to get some more vitamins etc.
The taste is pretty subtle which helped me with not getting sick of them. I didn't have any problems eating them. My girlfriend on the other hand found them too dense and rarely finished one.
After a few days I would sometimes experience a bit of heartburn after I ate one. Maybe my overall diet was too acidic.”
“I really like Tweenie bars as a morning snack at 10.. far better than other bars as they really fill you up.. But it would be far better if the palm oil in the ingredients list could be replaced by coconut ect. Even sustainable palm oil has been found to be a sham, breaching conditions leading to more orangutan habitat destruction. So hopefully something could be used instead. Then it would be 5 stars!”
“I love these. I have been bying those protein energy bars but they are like snack for me and does not fill me at all. These on the other hand actually keep me feed for a while and I know they can pretty much be used as a small meal. Tastes great and are easy to bring. Love them.”
