The drink is always kinda gooey especially near the bottom, but the bars are amazing! I have one stashed in my bag for emergencies and I often am stuck with work and no time for eating - so I pop 2-3 bars over the course of a 16-hour day and my day is managed. The only problem is I seemed to initially have some diarrhea from the first few bars (separate package of "single bars" which had a different expiration date than the 25x bars). Also I seem to get quite a bit of gas from them. But all-in-all I much prefer the taste/consistency of the bars to the drink and will continue eating them. I hope they make some new flavors eventually! :)

I enjoyed it. It's a very smooth bar that's slightly gritty but it's a pleasant texture. The banana was subtle, almost cocoa like. I would recommend. It filled me up and more convenient than carrying a drink round for sustenance. I'm going to try make my Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake powder into DIY bars.

I ordered chocolate Twenny Bars and found that they do the job they were made for: 20% of your daily intake in a bar. Now there are some aspects to bear in mind. First, this thing is heavy to the stomach, it will take you between 5 to 10 minutes to eat it, believe me this thing is very tiring to chew on. That's the ok part. Now for the really bad part: they taste mild, or rather they taste like nothing. If you want to get a glimpse of how it tastes, imagine "smelling" chocolate rather than tasting it. There you have it. They taste like the "smell" of sugar-free chocolate. Now Jimmy Joy can't do magic about it: it's not candy, so they cannot boost the flavor artificially with adding more sugar (and surprisingly there is already quite a lot of it in there). But, this thing definitely does not taste like Joy for sure. I will try the vanilla ones in the future, but this was my fair and honest review of the chocolate version. Honestly if it was any other company I would have given it 2 stars instead of 3 but our expectations as customers here are different for this kind of products and there are immuable laws to the physics and chemistry of this universe so I took that into account.

For whatever reason, this sting my throat a bit going down. I don't think I have a significant allergy to any of the ingredients, so I'm really not sure what that's about. Flavor-wise, the vanilla beats out the chocolate, but both are underwhelming in the taste department. These may be more convenient than the shakes, but they definitely don't taste as good.
