Plenny Bar Chocolate v3.0 Reviews

4.4 Rating 1,410 Reviews
omgomgomgomg love these twenny bars i just recieved. So big. So nutritious. So tasty. Always much easier to eat one in 1 minute than spending your time to cook or make some food. I heard that they should be dry, but i didn't experience that. Just like eating some cake dough transformed into a chocolate bar. 7/5 would buy again

I like the Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake shakes therefore I ordered this bar for trial. The first bite is okay but it became more and more salty after each bite. :( Definitely need to drink water while eating this.

I'm fully satisfied and it feels much more like real food, then drinking Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake.

I ordered the Twenny bars after the the well known American competitor bar recall. Here are a few notes. Nutrition: I really appreciate the complete nutrition offered by the Twenny bars. Calories: 400 calories is a lot for me. When I'm hungry and thinking of options, I have a slight dread when looking at the Twenny bars, because they make me feel too full. I would eat more bars, if there were a a 200 calorie option, or there was a sanitary way to reseal the remainder of the mail for later consumption. Taste: I wish I could say I love the taste, but ... for the banana flavor, the taste seemed a little off or unnatural. After eating a number of the bars, I've come to accept the taste, but I still feel slightly averse when considering eating the next bar. I would prefer either less added flavor (since the main ingredient - rolled oats - tastes great on its own), a flavor more like cookie dough, or a flavor with a hint of citrus (think vegan oatmeal cookies, which are usually flavored with a little orange juice). Consistency: The bars are on the dry side, and swallowing each bite becomes difficult without a drink in the other hand. Because of this, it's hard to eat a bar when out "on the go". Also, little chunks or crumbs are prone to falling off when eating. However, the random fragments of whole oats are nice, when encountered. I enjoy chewing on the residual fragments for a while after each bite. These remind me of the crunchy fragments found in the the well known American competitor bars, which were also a delight. In summary, the bars are pretty good. I'll continue because of the balanced nutrition (thank you!), but I would prefer something not so big, not so banana, and not so dry. Best of luck as you continue to optimize your formulations!!

I love the Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake shakes but these are honestly a huge disappointment. I got sick from eating a few of these bars and when contacted Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake about a possible refund/exchange, I was told that nothing could be done... I just hope Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake doesn't go down the path of the well known American competitor in terms of customer service. Love the shakes though!

About 2 years ago the "the well known American competitor" craze started. And I got curious and ordered a shady ziplock bag from someone that used to be a drugdealer in the Netherlands because the others were "US ONLY". And... I got hooked. The convenience, no more food-logging to get the best balance... No more grocery hassle... instant satisfaction there is the budgetting aspect. (you know you get to the grocery store and think to keep within budget, and overspend. Or decide to "shop and cook for a few days" but then you end up going every day, and overspend on a regular base.) Since I've been through the different versions and even went as far composing my own while waiting on my order. Some types came and have gone (I miss you some kind of whey.. or the apple cinnamon... It had some kind of pazzas getting a box with the little oil containers too... that Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake taste was really nice too but inconsistent). The sensation of the liquid being digested so fast, to the point normal food seems "to take so damn long to register in your body to cut the hunger" always has been there from day one while it became better and more consistent. There's no looking back and the twenny bars just knocked this concept out of the ballpark! The casual interacactions with the delivery guy/gal via the free-field just adds to the spirit and add to the delivery time joys. There is maximum one meal a day I have eaten normal for the last years and have never looked back. And haven't felt healthier. This lifestyle is so grand I can't even describe the joys of Joyent.

I've been struggling with excessive eating, and now, Joyent vegan is the only logical and healthiest option out there. The safety of knowing to the core of what you're eating is key, and the powder really tastes just like oatmeals, which is a familiar taste and I don't care how many times I ate it. In combination with exercise, Joyent helped me feel healthier, and literally lose some kilos. Wish they would sell unflavored Joyent vegan, so I can blend seasonal fruits with the shake!
