“The salted caramel tasted completely aful for me, but i also live minimizing my salt, so that might be the reason (I'm not used to salt)
and I really think it's a setback from the old bars to make them smaller and harder. One of the reasons I preferred tweeny bars over other meal replacement bars is because they aren't too compact and I don't need to chug 2 liters of water to get them down.. this seems more like all the others they were oily but still gave you a dry mouth
would love to try the other new variants, to see if it's different with them but im a student and don't have the money to spend 60€ on something I might not even be able to eat a full bar of..”
“I tried it and thought it was alright, but it sounds better than it tastes. I love caramel salt but this did not really remind me of that. The nutritional value is great. Personally I wish it had more calories lol. My family also tried it and they found it too salty.”
“I wanted to try the plenny bar since they seem an easy way to have a meal on the go. I tried the chocolate one. They are easy, but taste is also important. They are okay, not delicious and not disgusting. They would improve greatly if the bar would be more juicy. It is pretty dry so some water next to it helps. Overall they are healthy quick bite and easy for a hike or something similar.”
“I loved the Twenny bars - I really happy with them. Plenny bars have a weird aftertaste (acidic) and are ridiculously chewy. Not comfortably so. Plus side - filling and nutritious and not delicious enough to be tempting to eat as a snack/treat. Downside - Just... edible. I'll keep buying them just out of convenience most likely. But I'll forever miss the Twenny bars. I understand that the choice to go for a vegan bar is so that you can please everyone and it's better for the world... but I will try other options from other brands to see if I can find something else that made me as happy as Twenny bars did.”
