“It's a bit too dry and heavy, making it hard to eat. I need like 1L of water to push it down. So it's not so practical because it still takes a lot of time and effort to consume. Still, it doesn't taste bad. Should add a neutral flavour as well.
PS: Don't go for vanilla, it's very bad”
“I switched recently from the Penny Shake (which gives too much air :) to the snacks bar and drink.
Only problem is the snack is too low on calories for me (BMI 1800Kcal) and the vanilla taste.. well, I use to add some coffee if I have it”
“I really like the idea of the product, however, I have two major problems with it. First of all, it might be just me, but my stomach might not be handling the bars very well and secondly I am not a fan of using palmoil in any products. if these two issues could be solved I would give it 4/5 or 5/5... maybe the taste could be improved, but that is very subjective.”
“Great taste, reasonable price and satiating. If I could improve 3 things it would be make it vegan, remove malitol (laxative and terrible for many with IBS and remove maltodextrin. Then it would be perfect.”
“I love the Chocolate flavor Twenny bars, but the Vanilla was a bit too neutral for me. A bar with a glass of milk in the morning is great when you're running behind, or just throw a few in your car for those just in case moments.
They're very dense and fairly chewy, so a lot of water is helpful.
The price point means I use them sparingly compared to regular Plenny shake, but their portability, being shelf-stable, and convenience means I always try and keep a box on hand.”
“A bit too sweet for me. I love the concept and to have something to chew on, but I would rather have a neutral version. Perhaps something for the future!”
