This box is an excellent way to get introduced to Jimmy Joy. I use this for breakfast and lunch. If I want an easy and quick meal, I’ll make a shake. Feel more like eating, I’ll have a bar. In a rush or want to quickly refuel after a workout, I’ll have a Plenny Drink. In terms of taste, I would say they’re all fine. The shakes taste good even with water, usually if you mix regular protein powder with water, it’s just gross, but this works really well. The bars are not too sweet and not dry at all. The Plenny Drink tasted like cardboard the first sip, but transitioned into a very nice vanilla taste. Summarized: healthy, easy, well priced and nice tasting. Will buy again!

While tastes and consumability are ok, with the exception of the vanilla bars that are WAY too sweet, both drinks and the bars are not what I expect of meal replacement products. This I need to clarify of course: Starting with the Plenny Drinks: these are basically water with a lot of maltodextrine. This is far from suitable for any nutritional quality. The Plenny Shake (small bags) is a little better, but still nearly all of the carbohydrates come from maltodextrine. I hear the new composition found in the „big bags“ is better and contains no maltodextrine or isomaltulose, but it is not available in the starter box that I ordered to try Jimmy Joy. Finally the Twenny Bars. I find these to be too big and containing too many calories. If you see a bar as a whole meal, then this is suitable, but I would guess most people, myself included, will use bars as a snack. Furthermore I find the composition suboptimal and both chocolate and especially vanilla are too sweet. In conclusion, I find other meal replacement products more suitable for my needs and quality expectations. It is not the nutritional values that „on paper“ seem ok, its the source of the nutrients and the glycemic index and glycemic load of the product. Especially the massive use of maltodextrin as a cheap carbohydrate with a very high GI is a very bad idea. However, these are also more expensive and often come in fewer taste varieties.

With the starter pack, i could try each type of product and see wich one i would see me using frequently or not. There is more than enough for several days or weeks and the price is very attractive while choosing between brands.

I grew up with a mom who always did shakes so I absolutely abhorred the powdery taste of those diet shakes. I tried Jimmy Joy and in comparison it tastes WAAAY better (and is also not a diet shake I guess). The Twenny bars were my lunch for a while and are actually delicious, could be less sweet. I tried the Plenny Drink and LOVED it, and the shake I use 1 scoop in the morning for breakfast and it keeps me going until lunch. I think I'm going to stick with the shake in the long run but the rest of the items taste good too. I have to wake up super early for work and this prevents me from having to wake up earlier to prepare breakfast.

Great product, really healthy! If it possible, insert a most clear instruction on how to prepare powder's solution.

The starter box page says in one place it comes with banana and mango, and in another place banana and strawberry. I reached out to support to confirm which flavor it would come with and to adjust my order accordingly (I wanted to get one bag of each flavor of shake). I was told it would be Strawberry so I ordered mango shake and when it arrived I received an extra mango and no strawberry. Would probably rate this 4 stars if not for that mix-up. Decent value if you want to try out a mix of products to see what you're interested in.
