“I was quite excited for v2.0, since v1 had its quirks with some random iron flavour here or there, but overall it was almost perfect.
Now V2 has just an OVERWHELMING taste of Oats. There is no vanilla, just oat. It also leaves a slight and brief blanket of weird crunch on my teeth (perhaps fibers?). Even after multiple Shakes on different tastes I am yet to taste anything other than overwhelming oat. v2 is also more watery than v1 in my experience.
However Plenny drink is still at a very competitive price point and offers a kick of energy on the go and if you like oats you‘ll love 2.0.
Sadly, I don’t like oats or chocolate, which means I am going from 10 Shakes a week to 0.”
“I’ve just had a kid, and these have been a life saver.
That taste great, and can and do recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a easy and healthy solution during a busy day.”
“Tasty and very nice if you want an alternative to the bars, but I like the bars more. Would certainly order them much more often if the price was lower.”
“It feels bad putting a low score because I like Jimmy Joy. I absolutely loved the taste of Plenny. I understand that sometimes changes in formula are needed, but the taste of this new version is saddening. It's too salty and almost savoury-tasting. It reminds me slightly of V8 (vegetable/tomato juice), but then mixed with pancake batter flavour. I don't think I'll be buying anymore Plenny if it stays like this. Even though it's drinkable, the taste is a bit too unpleasant. I really hope that the old version can make a comeback because otherwise I will miss it sorely.”
