“It tastes OK, but it is watery when first mixed, and I prefer the thicker consistency of other brands which I recently abandonded due to lead content. I have tried letting it sit for an hour or two in the fridge, and then it seems to get a bit too thick, resulting in difficulty getting it out of the included shake mixer. Sadly, I cannot continue eating this product due to the inclusion of sucralose, which has been shown to be disruptive to the gut microbiome and alter insulin and glucose levels in NIH sudies. I sure wish it didn't have something that research shows is harmful! Otherwise I might have continued buying it. I appreciated the balance of macro and micro nutrients, at the very least. In the end, you need to ask yourself how comfortable you are with sucralose.”

Sucralose is one of the most researched sweeteners, with extensive safety evaluations by food authorities like the EFSA and FDA. Studies have shown that it is safe for consumption, does not affect blood sugar levels, and is well tolerated by most people.
We have considered switching to a natural sweetener many times, not because sucralose is dangerous, but because we know some people prefer alternatives. However, after testing multiple options, we found that none provided the same great taste without compromising quality. Our tasting panel consistently prefers the current formula, so we’ve kept it as is.
