“It's coming from New Jersey to Connecticut, this is a 2 state difference. I switched from another meal provider, due to lower cost and higher protein content and fiber, higher calorie content, and built in natural flavor options. I was extremely excited. HOWEVER, I should have read the legal information on the site first, as they give themselves 30 days to ship your product or to refund.. I have contacted customer service, multiple times and nothing was done I believe based on these terms. Its a fun, quirky company, and I LOVE that about them. I just feel as though that information was not as transparent as I would have liked. In addition, I am pretty sure I paid more because I had to pay in euros, I wish there was an option for usd if I was shipping in the us, and the product is here in the us, I guess the cost would go up anyways then or whatever.. I recieved something like 32$ off in discounts based on a coupon code so that was cool, however I would have never paid the 30$ shipping anyways and so then they would have lost my sale. ANYWAYS This is my rant. Below you will find a more detailed review.
I gave this review 3 stars for the following reasons:
1.) I feel like it's mostly my fault for not doing my research on shipping and refund terms.
2.) The product is AMAZING on paper.
3.) I have a need for these types of products in my life, and this seems like the best option for me to get gains, be healthy, and have time for myself.
4.) I believe in these types of products, and am excited for the future of foods like this. I believe wholeheartedly that this movement away from conventional food production can really help in feeding the world.
I was sent an email asking for my review, if I were the company I would use marketing automation within my shipping process, so that a review email is not sent to a user, until they have enjoyed the product and that may have influenced my review.”
“It's a great product and really replaces food! It was an "experiment" to see if it was true, and although it was incredibly difficult to transition since I love food, it really works! The limited flavours get boring after a while but hey eating takes only 5 min!”
“Before trying Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake I tried some other the well known American competitor based solutions in The Netherlands. None of them compare to the flavour and convenience offered by Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. From all flavours I like Vanilla and Wake up the most.”
