“I just received my third batch of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake and there is not much criticism I can come up with. The customer support is great and the shipping is fast and uncomplicated. The product itself does what it is supposed to do: one third of a bag replaces a small meal. For me it lasts around 3 to 4 hours before I get hungry again.
I would really appreciate a neutral flavor so I could add berries or other flavors myself. I know the idea of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake is that you only need one bag a day and you are completely covered, but I think most of the Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake costumers use it to replace only one or two meals a day. The possibility to pimp my Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake the way I like it would really improve the experience.”
“Out of my 21 meals in a week, 14 are already satisfactorily taken care of. That leaves me with seven meals for which I need to cook and which, as a consequence, are neither particularly tasty nor correctly balanced, in terms of nutrient intake. This is where Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake comes into play: it saves me the bother of cooking and it saves me from food cooked by me. “Delivery: I ordered on a Wednesday, the package was sent on the Monday of the following week and I received it on the Tuesday. Which is an OK delivery time. It doesn't match the promised ETA of 1 day of processing (+ delivery) though. Processing took 3 business days.
Packaging: Everything comes in a cardboard box and there is not much space wasted. There is no cushioning, but it is not needed anyways. The Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake itself is in aluminium bags with plastic on the inside. They are very unwieldy, when you want to get the pulver out of them. The thing that makes me hesitate to order the next batch is, that the bags are not recyclable and I would be generating 2 1/3 of those as garbage per week if I only have Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake for breakfast. I would love for them to at least have containers like they are often used for protein. Afaik they are not recyclable either, but they hold more "content per garbage" and are much easier to handle.
Shaker: It's nice that they include a free shaker with first time purchases and the shaker has a good volume and probably can be cleaned quite easily. BUT the shaker had a very disgusting plastics smell and still has after several times cleaning, soaking and airing out. I wouldn't dare to put anything into it, that I am going to eat/drink. And it has me a bit worried that Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake would ship something that smells like a health-hazard with their product. I would not recommend anyone to order one of those if you have to pay for it.
Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake: It's delicious and saturating. My favorite tastes are strawberry and apple cinnamon. I had it for breakfast for the last 1.5 weeks and could well imagine to continue doing so.
