Plenny Shake v3.0 Banana Reviews

4.5 Rating 12,166 Reviews
I really like the texture, I need a meal replacement to be easy to drink. I also wanted to try to eat vegetarian or vegan for medical reasons, but I have limited time to figure out what I want to eat and at the same time cook something else for my family. This has been the perfect solution! I am not interested in weight loss and the product is not designed to be for that anyway - but it's nice to have the calorie amount intake under full control. My wife have tried all of the tastes as well (she's not that into mango, but that's just her preference). She also put in an order today.

I love all of the tastes, perhaps the mango being the least favourite (but still very good, just not my preference). My husband bought one of each and I've tried them all. I was a bit reluctant with the vanilla one - but I was really surprised! The taste is rich, but not overpowering - really good! All of them have a really nice taste, none of that "artificial flavour" which I was expecting. The texture is good (it doesnt clump up when I shake the powder), it's not thick - even with less water. I've tried other brands which feel like you're drinking wallpaper glue. This one is nice, and it satisfies my hunger - I dont feel hungry until after about 2,5 - 3 hours.

I just love these shakes. They taste great. There is a flavor for everybody. It's really convenient and easy. It makes my daily life so much easier. I work long days and spend a lot of time in public transport. I always carry a shake with me. I make healthier food decisions and safe money.

Ich liebe eure Produkte. Immer wenn ich viel zu tun habe, ist es praktisch einfach Jimmy Joy zu nehmen. Großer Vorteil: Es ist vegan! :)

I've been trying a few different meal replacements lately and while plenny is perfectly ok, it results in a very thin shake that doesn't feel very filling. Mainly, though, I found the portion sizes confusing. Given that each portion offers 20 % of most DRIs, Plenny seems to be based on eating five 400 kcal meals per day. Who eats five equally sized meals per day?! Alright, so that just means Plenny is great if you want to loose weight - eat your normal three meals per day and get 1200 kcal; you're bound to lose weight. Right? Only, then you miss out of 40 % of your RDI of various vitamins, which defeats the purpose of eating meal replacements to begin with. There's a reason why other manufacturers offer different versions of their meal replacement with different kcal counts, rather than just recommending the customer to change the amount of formula per shake. All of this would still be ok if the website clearly stated that the product is intended to constitute 20 % of your daily intake per two scoops, so that you could adjust the portion size accordingly. I can't see anything like that on the main page, though. You have to go into the detailed nutritional information before you realise that unlike all other major brands of meal replacement, Plenny is NOT based on three meals per day. That also makes it harder to compare prices, given that one Plenny meal is about 60 % of a "normal" meal replacement meal - which, once again, seems geared towards weight loss until you realise that you'll need to supplement your vitamin and mineral intake in that case. (Also, what's up with making the portion sizes 96 g? I'm not going to carry scalea with me)

You went from 525g to 475g per bag, from 25 to 15g of protein, while increasing fat content (almost doubling saturated fat). You started with a great idea… you ended up into mere business. I would have preferred paying more than experiencing such a decrease in quality and quantity standards. It is not a secret that proteins are more expensive than fats, but the new recipe does not provide a sufficient amount of energy and proteins for an average man (despite you kept the same bag price). I feel quite disenchanted, having enjoyed Plenny Shake for years.
