This is definitely the best flavour I have tried. I love it, and wish it would stay.

As a Jimmyjoy customer of several years, I was horrified at the taste of the new Mango formula. Instead of the smooth and pleasant flavour of the old formula, I can only describe the new one as that of synthetic slime. It's a lingering taste that stays unpleasantly in your mouth even after swallowing. Because I've previously had pleasant experiences with the Jimmyjoy taste I'll try the other new and "improved" flavours as well, but my joy of Jimmyjoy had been badly tarnished.

I've been living pretty much entirely on JJ since august last year, and it's been great. It's cost-efficent, time saving, vegan, nutritious, taste is OK (note: the taste is of minor importance to me), space saving... If I were to build up an emergency storage of food, in case of apocalypse or alien invasion... I'd go for plenny shake. The shelf life is not all that long, but the amount of nutrition/calories per weight/space unit is just unbeatable. How many complete days worth of food can you fit in the weight/space that a bag of plenny shake takes up, if you have to use "normal food"? Not much... The only downside I've experienced with plenny shake is that some folks are keen on complaining on my diet. It's become increasingly frustrating how people ask about what I'm drinking, not out of curiousity - but to "lecture" me on how bad my diet is. Their criticism is, of course, not based on facts, but on rumors and anecdotes of "powder food"... But even if they are "wrong" - it's still very annoying to discuss my diet again, and again, and again... For those who are concerned about the healthiness of powdered foods, I suggest googling. Search on reddit (/r/soylent + /r/jimmyjoy + /r/jimmyjoyfood), and if one wants to read scientific journals... search on PubMed for "meal replacement". I couldn't find any scientific articles on JJ-like meal replacements, most if not all articles are about meal replacements for weight loss, but still - as far as I've gathered there is no documented health risk with living entirely on meal replacements. It's possible it makes me "gasy", but my stomach is a mess no matter what (I have IBS). But it's not too bad, I have medications prescribed to deal with the IBS :-)

it's a very simple and quick meal. Moreover, after a while you will still have a feeling of satiety. Especially at lunch during the days of work it is very convenient.

Flavors are nice and sweet but if you lead an active life you definitely can't make 5 meals out of one bag.
