“Whether you're looking to replace most of your diet or just have a convenient alternative on hand, Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake works great for both. One meal is surprisingly filling and keeps you full for several hours. All the flavors have a rich oatmeal base flavor, with the marketed flavor clearly distinguishable but never overpowering. The company seems to be working towards broadening their product range, and the customer service is great.

“I bought Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake because I was having my wisdom teeth removed and thought it might be a good opportunity to try it out for a week. I've tried a few other meal replacements but most have a very bland taste. The other brands are edible but not as enjoyable as Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, they've really put some effort into getting the taste right. Highly recommended, my favorite flavors are banana and strawberry.”

The shakes are really delicious - all the tastes, I can not make a clear rank of my favourites now so I just need to try everything again!

“I bought Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake with the intention of replacing breakfast and the occasional meal here and there. All the flavors are surprisingly mild. I'm used to workout supplements such as optimum nutrition protein powder, so I was expecting the same taste for some reason. Chocolate Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake can be described as plain granola, a tiny bit of milk, and an even smaller amount of cocoa blended to too something really smooth. It's not bad, but it's not delicious by any stretch of the imagination. I guess if you're planning to replace all/many meals you'd prefer not having a strong chocolate taste, but for my personal use I like to add some extra nesquik scoops to make it more appealing. I really think Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake should consider adding a "double chocolate" or "rich chocolate" flavor. Of the four flavors I ordered (chocolate, banana, strawberry, cappuccino), I liked chocolate the least, even though I love chocolate. I'm also surprised they don't offer cappuccino as a normal Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake flavor, because it's quite good.
I blend mine in a Breville Active blender. Consistency can be described as a smoothie that's grainy, specially if you follow the instructions. I prefer adding some more water or less Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake to mine just to make it less thick and grainy. It's definitely filling, this is not your average smoothie, it actually feels like I've had a meal. If you let it sit the thickest and grainiest bits sink to the bottom, so either drink it with a good pace or make sure you shake it up after you've left it sitting for a while.
Could you replace all meals with Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake? Yes, you definitely can. Would I replace all my meals? Hell no. Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake is amazing to replace food when it's convenient, but it won't stop your desire for the umami/salt flavors. Personally I still want my meat, I still want cheese, I still want my veggies. Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has made my daily life a little more convenient though, and I plan on continuing to use it (though I'm not sure if it will be Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake next time).
The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is the lack of communication and professionalism from Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. I ordered my batch november 20th and received an instant "exception" notice from UPS. After a week of no change at UPS, I contacted them and they informed me that the order was not shipped since they didn't have the packaging for wake up Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, but that it would be in stock any day. After waiting another 10 days, I contacted them again letting them know that I would like to cancel. They had forgotten me completely, and assumed the whole shipment had been returned to sender. They informed me that they could send it with some extra Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake bags to make up for it, I agreed. Of course when I finally received my order nearly a month later, I had not received anything extra. Needless to say, dealing with Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake as a company has been frustrating, but their product is good.”
