“Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has found its home in my kitchen, at least semi-permanently. I ordered a test batch last August and I fell immediately in love with the convenience factor. It doesn't want me to miss out on a good lunch, but for those situations when you just don't have the time or energy to cook something Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake's a winner. I just wish there were savory variations available. I don't consume Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake every week so I can deal with the sweetness, but a taste that resembled something that you actually would eat for lunch would still be a welcome addition.”
“Been using it pretty much every day, really useful and such a timesaver. I think the flavouring could be better but I think it takes a little time to adjust to the flavour anyway, and that's such a small downside to pay for all the other benefits it has.”
“I've been drinking Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake occasionally when I don't want to cook at home or eat at a bad overpriced cafetaria at work. I wouldn't say it tastes "good", but it is not unpleasant to drink and does quench your hunger efficiently and healthily. So it does its job well, hence the five stars. I have tried the vanilla, strawberry, mango and chocolate flavors.
Some tips to improve the taste. The first three flavors above greatly benefit from the addition of the juice of half a small lemon. Two tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa in the chocolate Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake also go a long way.”
“While I love to cook I don't always have time or enjoy to shop and plan what to cook. With Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake I know that I always have something to eat even if just came home and haven't spent a single thought on what to eat. It also takes less then a minute to throw a meal together to bring with me if I need to go somewhere.
I recommend trying all flavours, I like them all but my favourite shifts from time to time.”
