“Jimmy Joy is a great start of the day. We do not like breakfast and are always in a hurry in the morning, so jimmy joy is a great alternative. I also gave it to my 92 year old grandma, who has trouble with eating normal food. She loves it!”
“Been on Soylent and then Biolent for three years for almost 100% if my daily nutrients. Jimmy Joy Vegan definitely wins in flavour but the constant bloating and incredibly smelly gas, as well as intermittent nausea was not sustainable. These symptoms occurred despite easing into the product over a period of a month as suggested by the company to minimize symptoms but it did not help. I am very lactose intolerant and the symptoms I experienced were similar to when I have too much dairy, but this is the vegan option which contains no whey so that cannot have been the issue. Anyway, I’m begrudgingly going back to Biolent which is less tasty but slightly cheaper and not an all out assult on my body.”
“I cant get it down, really did not like this flavor, sorry. my friend likes it, so i gave all the bags to him. If you bring back raspberry i order strait away that one was so good.”
“For me - didn't enjoy the flavour at all. Probably just a personal preference but much prefer the other flavours.
I do like the concept of limited edition flavours though to mix things up and do some market research on what works for people.”
“The ‘experimental’ flavours have all been pretty extreme in terms of taste, and Plenny Shake Amsterdam one was no exception. Good thing is that I think it was the best in the line so far. Mixed with other flavours it worked decently, and I could occasionally manage a pure shake. Still, in general my main critique would be that the flavour is just way too intense. It feels like the flavour could be dialled back to 33% intensity to get back in line with the OG-crew shakes (something I feel is true for most recent experimentals). On the other hand I love the creative direction that this taste was taken in - stroopwafel is not a common flavour, so it takes a nice bit of guts to go for that. Well done on that front! All in all, I wont be too sad to see ‘Amsterdam’ go, but it certainly does have me looking forward to future concoctions.”
“I would not call this stroopwafel flavour ; what it reminds me most of, actually, is cookie batter. Maybe renaming it to that would result in a boost in sales !
Either way, it works quite well. The taste is strong (for a shake) but pleasant. I hope the new recipes (chocolate, in particular) will have the same taste quality.”
