“I work late nights as a hotel receptionist (from 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM). I bring dinner and eat it at around 9 or 10 PM, but at around 5 AM I'm starving again. Jimmy Joy is perfect for that. I toss the powder in the bottle and throw it in my backpack for every night shift. I've been taking it with one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and it's great like that. The texture and mouth-feel improves a lot and I'm pretty sure it helps to keep me full too. Never hesitate to customize your shake!
By the way I found out about the Plenny Shake via one of my favorite youtubers, TrainingPal. So far it has been fun to experiment with this alternative form of nutrition. Favorite flavors so far are banana and mango.”
“I first tested Plenny a while ago, when it was still JoyLent. Loved it then, love it now! It tastes great (most of the flavours anyway) and gives me all I need for my half-Plenny / half traditional food diet. Shipping is quite expensive, but it's fast and JimmyJoy people are super friendly. 5 stars from me!”
“So this is my first order of vegan Plenny, I say that because although I ordered two non-vegan 'joylent's before the rebrand. Whether it's an generational ingredients improvement, or the fact I bought vegan this time around - now it's the same price as ordinary (yay!) - this shake mix is a vast improvement over the previous generations. Some things I'm pretty sure is due to its vegan nature, others could be generational.
Firstly, the tastes are subtly improved, and I like the vegan chocolate, quite nutty in flavour, and the 'neutral' is akin to cashew milk in my opinion; actually a great flavour. I have heard the flavours vegan/non-vegan differ slightly, so that might be it. Another minor, but welcome difference is that if you're in a rush and don't wash up, I've found the non-vegan one smells a bit 'sour' in the bottle after a short while; whereas I have not experienced this at all with the vegan one. But the biggest improvement that is probably generational, is the texture. I was quite used to the oddly lumpy, slightly grainy texture of the previous Joylents, but that's not to say I'm not very pleased with the even smoothness of the new ingredients!! Oh, and although superfluous, it does help that the packaging is nicer and extra sturdy. I am all round impressed, well done Jimmy Joy - (but when will mango be available as a vegan flavour!?).”
“I've ordered it a couple of times before, but I stuck to the banana and vanilla one, and they're good. This time I tried out the mango and strawberry ones; They're even more awesome!”
