“Ik gebruik nu een jaar Jimmy Blij, ik denk ong. 2 shakes per week. Ik vind de smaak prima en het doet wat het moet doen. Het geeft je een snelle voedzame maaltijd. Ik maak hem wel vaak een paar uur van de voren en leg hem in de koelkast, hierdoor krijgt hij een wat fijnere volle consistentie.
Het grote nadeel is de verpakking. Nu al 2 keer gehad dat er 1 verpakking gescheurd is tijdens het verzenden. Niet alleen zit daardoor de hele doos vol met poeder, maar ook je hele vloer/tafel/keukenblad, als je de doos openmaakt. Ik maak tegenwoordig standaard de doos buiten in de tuin open. Daarnaast de verpakking zelf ook een ramp om er fatsoenlijk poeder uit te scheppen. Het bijgeleverde maatschepje past er nauwelijks in, en het is bijna onmogelijk om het netjes af te strijken. (het woord maatschepje is in deze context schromelijk overdreven, aangezien er geen maat opstaat, Hoeveel gram is 1 schep???) En wat heb je eraan als je hem niet fatsoenlijk kan afstrijken? Ik heb een paar keer geprobeerd de schep te gebruiken met de originele verpakking, en ik kom uit op ong. tussen de 20 en 25 gram per schep. Maar dit geheel terzijde.
Ook als de verpakking bijna leeg is, is het bijna onmogelijk om er nog fatsoenlijk met een lepel uit te scheppen.
Ik heb nu zelf een bakje gemaakt waarin ik de poeder stop, waardoor je weer gewoon het gewenste aantal gram er makkelijk uit kan halen.
Ik hoop dat ze dit echt snel verbeteren, want voor de rest is het een prima product.”
“First time trying 4/5 of the vegan flavours. The flavours have a nice taste to them, and the texture isn't too bad. I like to mix them up with coconut/almond milk for a thicker texture. These have been amazing meal replacements, I've been eating out less and the more and more I get accustomed to the shakes the less I find myself craving junk food.”
“It's basically liquid oatmeal with added nutrients, and tastes exactly like it. Or if you cool it, it becomes solid oatmeal! So not the best tasting food, but it's healthy and cheap.”
