Plenny Shake v3.0 Banaan Reviews

4.5 Rating 12,312 Reviews
I picked up a few bags of this to try out after reading about it and similar alternatives online. I was sceptical that I'd enjoy it to say the least... I like my food, but I'm a busy guy and I'm trying to lose weight so in my head saving time while also being healthier than most of what I eat when I'm in a rush... it was worth a shot. My weight loss hasn't changed much since replacing a meal a day with Jimmy Joy so I'm not going to say it has helped that all. It has given me more time in my day though which is always nice. Delivery took a day... A SINGLE DAY! From Netherlands to Sweden, so no complaints there at all. I make a shake on an evening and plonk it in the fridge either at home or work depending on how busy my day is looking. It took a little while to get used to the taste at first but I've tried a few of them now (All except Banana)and they're not bad... in fact if you tinker with them a little they can taste pretty good. In terms of how well they fill you up, I've had no issues. I've had them for lunch and then haven't felt hungry until getting home in the evening. I've had them on an evening and not felt hungry until lunch the next day (I don't do breakfast) I don't even feel the need to snack between meals where Jimmy Joy has replaced one of said meals. Mango. I really don't like this much. It tastes more like Honeydew Melon and it gets sickly fast, but maybe other will like that. I didn't experiment with this because of that... and because I only got one bag. Strawberry. Tasted ok but had a very oaty aftertaste. I was surprised that the initial flavour of it tasted so natural though and it's fine on its own. Tinkering with this, some things made it taste super good. Concentrated strawberry milkshake mix and fresh or frozen berries are great additions. Chocolate. A bit bland but not too bad. The oaty aftertaste works here as it blends well with the chocolate flavour, pretty good on its own. You can perk this up with a little cocoa or chocolate milk powder. If you're looking for something less sweet Cappuccino powder works amazingly well, you can also mix it with cold coffee instead of plain water. Vanilla. Tastes surprisingly good but seems very sweet and gets sickly quickly. I'd recommend a little pinch of salt in this to deal with that. Cappuccino powder again works here too. If you're looking to keep things sweet Cinnamon works a treat in this. Lastly, I tried making pancakes out of the Chocolate and Vanilla mixes. Works great! Just throw on a little banana and a little maple syrup. Might get Banana flavor next time just for this :)

I used Jimmyjoy for a few quick meals inbetween normal ones when time was tight (extremely fast to make!). The meals are smooth drinks which satisfy my hunger for a good while. The flavors are a bit of a hit and miss for me - I personally enjoyed a few of them but also disliked others. I highly recommend putting the mixer cup with the water into a fridge for a few minutes before mixing and consumption since it improved the taste for all of the flavors for me. My order arrived within a few days of ordering and was packaged pretty nicely. I like the colorful packaging!

The new name is so bad. I think I will have to scratch it off the shaker.

It's easy for a quick lunch but I wouldn't advise it for a meal.
