“My work involves a lot of driving around, from place to place, with small moments in between to try to squeeze a meal in, but no practical way to bring food from home without it spoiling, thus succumbing to the fast food demon more times than I'd care to admit. I made a joke on a website that I wished there was the equivalent to dog food for humans, where when I'm hungry I could consume it to get all my nutrients. Someone responded with an actual answer, which through much research led me to here. I decided to give it a go, as the price was reasonable enough that a trial wouldn't be too regrettable in the worst case. More of a lark than anything else. Well.... all I can say is it has provided me with exactly what I was looking for.
I went with the vegan powdered meals after reading it being the better choice for those with sensitive digestive systems. Not only does it taste good, it actually does fill me up! All the flavors are good actually, and I like the ability to hose between them from meal to meal.
The only reason I'm docking a star, and I feel bad doing it, is there does seem to be a lag on the initial shipping out of my orders. The last time I ordered it took near half a month for me to receive (albeit I live in the US), so this time I ordered while I still had about 6 meals left. Hopefully averaging 1 a day I can get through for the most part, but I may have to go to plan b until they arrive. :(
Outside of that, it's really great stuff all around. If this were available at my local store, I would be picking it up regularly, and it would get 5 stars easily.
Oh, also the whole scoop thing could be better explained in the materials you get with your order, my first meal I only put one scoop in thinking it was the size of the meal portion. Haha I've now opted for a kitchen scale (I bought specifically for this) and ziplocs to make it easier at the moment of consumption try scooping while driving! Haha) But I chock all this up to growing pains.
Tl;dr: if you're looking for a quick easy way to fill your tummy, with stuff it should actually receive no less, this is a great solution. :)”
“I am a bit disappointed that it is quite liquid. thus the oats are just simply shredded and don't dissolve homogenic, they sediment after a while.
also it contains really a lot of oat at least it taste like it and the additives seem to be very chemical and not natural.
not that I would never buy it again but I think the price is a bit to high and there exist other full meal-shakes for the same price with a higher value.
PS: chocolate doesn't taste chocolaty at all.

I really hope continue using Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake for a lot time. I'm the local rider of Ozone Kiteboarding in Madrid and a passionate sporty of the Kitesurf so I thought in the first moment that maybe I couldn't get all the energy necessary for every day, normal day and sport day but I was very wrong because Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake can give me all nutrients that I need "all nutrients in a tasty shake" :D
