“For me, the Twenny Bars are a major improvement compared to the Plenny Shakes. They don't need any preparation or dishes, are easier to carry around, and also perhaps more decent to consume in public.
I love any one of the three flavours, and after having eaten more than a hundred bars, I still feel no sign of gustatory ennui.
With respect to the texture, however, there is still room for optimisation. I've heard that the Vanilla bar has an upgraded recipe without any palm oil, but I am afraid that compared to the Chocolate bar, it is much more sticky and less crumbly. While the removal of palm oil may be defended from an environmental perspective (I'm not so sure about it, however), this is certainly a setback from the culinary perspective. Hopefully in the future, "Jimmy Joy" will develop a recipe that is both environmentally and culinarily satisfying.”
