“I got this having tried Huel and Protein Works. Mixed it with up didn't really taste of anything and was quite gritty and unrefined. It's also packed with maltodextrin which sent my sugars really high. Not sure tbh maybe I'm doing something wrong?”

Sorry to see the reviews did not make it past 2-stars, but thanks for trying and leaving your reviews.
You note you are not entirely sure if you may have done something wrong. I do not expect that to be the case, the instructions on the bag should be clear and I can confirm the end-product will always have the slight grain in it because of the oats we use.
The maltodextrin in our products is kept as low as possible, but it could make for a reaction as you noted in your situation of course. In that case, this is just not the product for you, I do not expect it to have anything to do with how you prepared it but to be on the safe side, make sure you check the instructions on the bag and follow those.
