“After trying the well known American competitor for about a month, I did some research to learn more about the competition. After reading several raving reviews, I ordered my first shipment of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake in 3 flavors: mango, strawberry, and chocolate.
I must say that the customer service was extremely responsive - I initially made a mistake ordering from the EU location when I could have saved about $30 in shipping ordering from the US location and they cleared it up for me.
As far as the actual product, I believe the ingredients are slightly more "wholesome" than the well known American competitor 1.5. As for the taste, I actually prefer the more neutral taste of the well known American competitor to Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake. I will say though that the Mango flavor is absolutely delicious - it is totally my preferred breakfast meal. One thing I will say is that enjoying Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake significantly depends on the temperature. It is MUCH better cold/chilled than at room temperature. the well known American competitor I could drink room temp in a pinch; Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake has a "gritty/grainy" texture due to the oats that is off-putting for me. I also do not like the strawberry flavor at all.
But for being nearly nutritionally equivalent to the well known American competitor and being more affordable, I definitely intend to continue being a Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake customer!”
“I've used Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake for over a year now. On the whole, it tastes great. I'd recommend that people steer clear of the mango flavour though, as it essentially tastes like air freshener. All the other flavours are fantastic though, not too strong, but flavoured enough to keep you coming back for more!”
