“Would personally like to see a bit more calories/protein but as a median value meant for all kinds of customers it's definitely fine. Having only 1 flavour got old pretty fast, even as someone who doesn't care that much about eating.”
“I have came to know about Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake 4 weeks ago through my research on the well known American competitor. I have been wanting to try the well known American competitor for ages (due to my poor eating habits) but is having trouble to get it shipped to Oman.
It would a joy for me to discover that Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, a product that is similar in concept as the well known American competitor, not only ships to Oman but also offer a fixed shipping rate regardless of the order quantity.
I ordered 15 bags of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake (3 of each flavors) on the same day and received my shipment about a week and a half later. The shipment somehow got delayed due to missing commercial invoice.
My first impression:
1) The packaging looks stunning however the zip lock sort of got in the way while scooping the powder. I would very much prefer the packaging to come in single meal packages although this may arguable increase the cost of production.
2) The content: The powder dissolves easily in water. The texture is slightly grainy, and sometimes causes a little discomfort to my throat, but this is something that I can live with. I loved the strawberry and Mango, and liked the vanilla flavor. Not so much on the chocolate and banana flavor. A meal of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake typically gets my stomach filled for 4 to 5 hours.
Ever since I have started Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake, I felt more focused and productive while at work. This has a lot to do with the fact that how little time it took to prepare a Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake and I no longer feel sleepy after meals.
Over the course of 3 weeks (I took 2 meals of Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake a day), I have lost close to 2 KG in weight and not to mention the amount of money that I have saved from eating out. I have not noticed any side effects apart from the gas problem.
To close out, I would recommend Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake to people who are looking for a dietary change. I have made my decision 4 weeks ago and never regretted this decision. There is no doubt I will be ordering Jimmy Joy/Plenny shake again, despite the fact that my second shipment is still being held up by UPS due to missing commercial invoices (again).”
