It should fit one meal for 400kcal perfectly and leave a little room to shake it still ;)
Maybe for you, the XL Shaker is a better option, you can add that to your order for 5,- Euro.

The dishwasher should do it indeed, but rinsing the bottle directly after use has never let me down either.
If you let it sit, it will get hard to clean, sometimes a small brush could be helpful then.
