Kamei Chickens were developed jointly by the University of Hong Kong and the Kadoorie Agricultural Research Institute, have tender meat, low fat content, are rich in collagen, and free of added hormones, antibiotics and harmful chemicals.
Meat texture: Smooth & elastic, rich in gelatin
Taste: Sweet
Suitable for: Steam, pan fry, serve cold (such as shredded chicken, drunken chicken)
Storage: Can store for 2-4 days in 2-4 °C fridge or 4-6 months in -18°C freezer. There may be +/-10% weight variation in weight of whole chicken products.
