“Shoes were too tight to put on fully when delivered. Took them to the shoemaker to have them stretched. He stretched them over a weekend. Went back and they were still too tight. He then stretched them to the maximum over night. This didn't resolve the probelm, so he asked where exactly was it too painful. Turned out the tongue was too thick for both shoes and he hammered away at it until they were acceptable. I ordered the wide size, but that was the result. I can now wear them for a little while, but generally wear one of my older pairs instead. The treads are good, but the manufacturer should make a wider shoe that is wider and for thicker feet.”
