“To me, Mr. Matthies is one of the best math tutors you can have. He was very patient with me. I struggle in Geometry. He allowed me to simplify square roots and work in the best method that worked for me. He was prepared and had his own slides and presentation that we could walk through together. He broke it down and started with an introduction that led to giving me examples and showing how to complete the problems first. That led me to work on them myself. If something got complicated, he would help me work through it. If any student struggles with math, I would recommend Mr. Matthies. He made me comfortable and more confident.”
