“I’ve been working with Ms. Thorne, and she’s been an amazing tutor. At the beginning of the school year, I was really struggling in math, especially being a new ninth grader, but since she started tutoring me, my math skills have improved a lot, and I feel more confident every day. I like that she’s really thorough and makes sure nothing gets missed. She goes over everything correctly, gives examples, and is patient with me, even when I’m guessing or making mistakes. She won’t move on until I truly understand the problem, which makes me feel ready for tests. She holds me accountable, but in a way that makes learning easier and more clear. My mom sits in on my sessions in the background, and she’s super satisfied with how Mrs. Thorne teaches me. She sees the progress I’ve made and appreciates how patient and thorough Mrs. Thorne is. I’m excited to keep learning with her and looking forward to more sessions. She’s definitely someone I want to work with when it’s time for tests because she helps me understand everything fully.”
