“I was very interested in Kaenon sunglasses because of reviews I had read and from looking at the variety of models shown on their website. Problem was I could not find any Kaenon dealers in northeastern Minnesota to actually see what the glasses looked like and try them on for fit. I took the measurements on a couple of aviator style sunglasses and on a pair of Maui Jim’s Makoas that a friend of mine had. All these frames fit me well. I sent the measurements to the customer service people at Kaenon and asked which of their frames they thought would fit as well and asked a bunch of other questions. After trading e-mails and a phone call, they said they thought the two Kaenon sunglasses that would be a good fit were the Burnet XL and the Truckee, the Burnet Xls being closer to the Makoas and the Truckee closer to the aviator style. They offered me a discount to try a pair and their policy would allow a return if the fit was not right. I had them send a pair of the Burnet Xls with the ultra-gray lenses. I liked the appearance and sturdiness of the glasses. The lenses were excellently sharp and the fit was very good. They stayed put and didn’t slide down my nose. The customer service was excellent and they were happy to answer all the questions I had. I think this company can be relied on to provide well made products and these folks are easy to work with. In addition to this, Kaenon’s standard prices are significantly lower than those of many of the sunglasses sold by some of their famous competitors: Maui Jim’s, Oakley, Costa del mar. Kaenon policies and prices were a good incentive to try them and I am glad I did.”
“They fit my big fat head and look great from both sides! No pressure points but secure fit, great clarity, and the nose rest has rubber inlays for comfort and grip. I would say these are a medium tint. I only wish they offered a glass option! So glad I found Kaenon!!”
