“Nice clamp. Installed them and found out the white paint was NOT allowing current to travel through. It was acting as an insulator. Took one off, scraped paint off with a wire wheel and then it allowed current to travel to the next wire. Called Customer Service and told a lady who:
A. Never apologized or said how can we help.
B. Kept interrupting me
C. Told me I could buy them without paint
D. Never offered for me to return or get a credit.
I called back and spoke to a manager. He was somewhat nicer
I'm on oxygen. Took me a long time to install these over my head in 96 degree heat with my oxygen backpack on, only to have to troubleshoot, remove every one, grind the paint off and then reinstall them all. Then paint with a clear spray to keep from rusting up so quickly.
I'll spend double the money at Tractor Supply for galvanized next time”
“This was my first attempt at making my own bungee gates and I'm a convert - I'll never buy another pre-assembled gate. It's cheaper to make your own gate and these pieces make it easy to connect the wire back on itself.”
