If the fence wire comes to an end, this clamp is your friend. After installing the clamp on the end post, simply insert the end of the wire into the hole for a safe and secure wire termination. For use with 10-11 gauge wire.
“The 11ga stainless steel wire is gripped well with this 10-11ga Quick-End for a grapevine trellis. In the 2"x6" board, I drill half-way through with a 5/8" bit, then switched to a 1/2" bit and drilled the rest of the way through. This allows the Quick-end to be hammered into the 5/8" opening without splitting the red cedar board.. it would be helpful to know the approximate lifetime of this galvanized quick-end. How long before it rusts out and needs replacement? 2 years? 5 years? 20 years? etc. I took off 1 star because of this information lack.”
