“Lightning took out my old energizer. Replacement came quick and now back to 5-6 K volts. Followed Kencove in the 80's and 90's when you were first starting out. Boy has the technology really developed since I first started doing pasture consulting in the mid 80's. My first H/T wire and energizer came from New Zealand.
We'll keep your catalog available for future needs. Thanks. Don Wild”
“I was content with my Parmak SE3's and SE5's , but wanted fencers with a remote as my kids have grown up and left, and I have no one to unplug the fencers anymore as I work on them. Seems to be a good stout fencer for my needs, seems to provide a little more voltage at a distance away from the fencer than the Parmaks. Bought 2 and a remote, running about 3 miles of electrified wire on one, about 4 miles on the other (sections of my fence have 1-3 hot wires depending where they are) The remote is a great time saver, works well except for about the last 300 yards on my farthest piece of fence, close to a mile of fence distance from the charger. I'm guessing that will improve after we get past the wet lush spring growth that's touching the fence. The green=good red=bad indicators on the fencers....I had gotten used to the meters on my old chargers. I could see when my voltage was starting to drop and I should check the fence, not just good or bad indication. Maybe Kencove could come up with a permanently mounted voltmeter I could mount along side my fencers? Warranty period is great, and knowing what I know now I'd buy them again. Fred”
