“The Parmak was delivered on schedule from Kencove. It seems to be fully functional. I also have 2 Parmak 6v Solar Energizers and this 12v model does not appear to work much differently. The peak impulse voltage measures the same on both 6 and 12v models. I have not performed any tests to measure performance under low impedance loads, an application that Parmak claims is a design criterion of the 12v one. I can report that the oldest of my 6v models has been operating constantly for 6 years, driving about 5000 feet of conductive rope. It has survived multiple serious lightening storms and several fence failures that left it short circuited for at least several days at a time. Kencove has proven to be a reliable vendor throughout my many orders over the years.”
