Great quality and I know people who have used them for 15 years. Someone I know said they broke one in the trunk of an SUV ....so ....don't do that! ;) I have made 19 orders in the past 3 years and watched everyone on the beaches use these poles for windscreens. With high winds on the fabric these poles are the best option. I have watched people break wooden poles and come over and ask me where I got my poles!

I got these poles for my windscreen as they were recommended by the maker but I'm wishing I got wood poles now. The fiberglass poles are a little too narrow I think. They still bend quite a bit so it's hard for them to stand up to the wind.

These things are awesome! This is exactly what we were hoping for. A great price for a superior product. Now if only Kencove would sell 1/2" - 3/4" SQUARE fiberglass rods...

Arkansas dirt ranges from granite hard to muck, depending on the moisture. I use the 5' posts, and sharpen one end on a sander in the wood shop, to a pencil point. They pound well with a 3 lb hammer and a drive cap, and they hold up well. The clips are handy and fast. I realize that step-ins are a lot faster and more convenient....maybe in Iowa......here, the durability and strength of these allows quality temporary fencing and cross fencing in rugged terrain of varying density soils. Some, I move monthly. I have several small fields that have been up for 2 years. We use T-posts for the corners....screw insulators on trees wherever possible, and use these everywhere else. These will be there for the long haul. BTW....Kencove can't be beaten for quality and value and selection.
