12½ Gauge, Double-Wall Underground Wire - Black, 50’ Coil Reviews

5 Rating 8 Reviews
Read Kencove Farm Fence, Inc Reviews

Burying insulated wire at gates provides better transfer of electric to opposite side. It is much more effective and safer than running wire overhead or using spring/removable electric gate wire. Place underground wire in 3/4" low pressure water pipe for added protection. Rated for 20,000 volts so use of household electrical wire is not recommended due to low voltage ratings. 0.34" outside diameter. The 12½ gauge wire lasts longer and conducts better than 16 gauge.

Excellent wire. Thick insulation that seems super durable but can be stripped easily once you cut trough the outer jacket. The wire is thick and you can bend it with pliers into the shape you need.

Nice cabling, easy to keep straight, yet will except a bend if needed.

I use double wall wire under gates and as a lead wire from fence charger to initial fence connection (charger is located inside metal barn). I have some wire that is 10 years old, with no problems.

I use this because of the double insulation. Seems to be a quality product and have not had any problems with it
