Use it to keep fences fault-free and strong power-wise Its layers of plastic insulated sheathing are thicker than most underground wires, but also very pliable. Neighbor bought 150' from me to use over a driveway to a field. He never buried it, even though I told him it would be a good idea. He drives over that wire almost everyday with a large tractor and pickup truck. It's been over a year and that wire has zero breaks in it.”
“So much better than the small diameter farm stuff. I misuse it regularly - run above ground, wire to field fence - and, while I don't recommend doing this, I've never had a short. I can find good leadout wire at my farm store, but not in long lengths. Longer coils mean fewer splices.”
