The Quick Brace is a complete bracing system for use with any type of H-post or box strainers. This brace is safer for horses because it prevents a V-loop at the bottom. With no twisting of wires, this system is fast and easy to install.Kit includes 18', 8 gauge, high-tensile, galvanized steel cable with a pre-formed loop at one end and a large Gripple tensioner. Cable is 0.165" in diameter.For maximum strength and safety, install Gripple 18"-24" away from post.Tensioning tool (TGTCC, TGTTP, TGTC) required for tightening.Gripple Plus and cable break strength = 1,320 pounds.
Can be used to make up to a 12' H brace

“These are quick and easy to install but have issues in maintaining their tension. The large gripples have a tendency to slip on the cable, as does the tensioning tool. Both work much better on solid wire, but not so good on cable. As a temporary solution we have placed 2 gripples in series and the system works better. We may eventually have to replace them all with 9 gauge brace wire / time will tell.”

“In the past two years we have put the H-Posts in for our 3 different vineyards. We used galv. wire and twisted it tight on the first vineyard H-posts. We found out real quick that there had to be a better way to do this. The H-Post Quick Brace makes this a whole lot easier and quicker. This saves so much time and we just finished installing them in the third vineyard. Everything was done within an hour or so. Thanks Kencove for your great service and prompt shipping of our orders! “No need to worry about ratchet tensioners and unraveling two miles of steel cable to make an 8 ft brace, this system is so efficient, quick and works as advertised. It looks alot cleaner to without all the cables hanging everywhere. Thanks Ken Cove”
