Hotcote® is an electrified coated wire product that requires insulators when installing. The 5” Hotcote® Tube Insulators are one of the strongest, most reliable insulators for Hotcote® since the coated wire and insulator are fully secured inside the staple. Tube insulators allow Hotcote® to pass through freely, making tensioning easy and effective.
Tube insulators should be slid on to the coated wire from either end before both ends are permanently terminated. Use wide 2” barbed staples when attaching to wood posts. Drive staples until they are snug, do not drive staples deep enough to crush tube insulators or pinch the coated wire inside.
Made from UV stabilized polymers. Choose between white, black, or brown to match the color of your Hotcote®.
